I’m a Northwest Arkansas photographer, who's an observant storyteller at heart with a deep love for a photo that feels like a beautiful piece of art. With a documentary-style approach, my goal is to direct when needed, without interfering with the authenticity of the moment.
As a lover of all things nostalgic and vintage, documenting love on digital and 35 mm film is a key piece to my photography. I want to capture your spouse shedding a tear, your Uncle Jim going for his second plate of food, and your bff busting it down on the dance floor. I prefer a fly on the wall approach for these moments, but put on fergalicious and you leave me no choice but to hit the dance floor.
I've been taking photos ever since I discovered my mom's Nikon Coolpix in our junk drawer in middle school. Although the camera has upgraded since then, my heart for capturing life has only grown and evolved.
I am a big thrifty gal. 90% of my home is curated antiques, so anything vintage that feels like it has pre loved history is my jam. Vintage nostalgia led me to my love for film photography. I live in the depths of nostalgia, so photos that takes me back to that moment-- the way it felt, the sounds, the documentation of a core memory is what I live for!!
