An Editorial Arkansas Engagement

an editorial, nostalgic, adventurous engagement

I've scrapped the idea of limiting my sessions to an hour and boy was it a GAME CHANGER. Holly and Cam's engagement was my trial run for this idea, and man did it open up so much space for creativity, comfortability, and connection. Unlimited time meant unlimited possibilities, so when I asked Holly what she wanted for her save the dates and engagement session, we had a loooong list of ideas/locations, but landed on 3 must haves:

1. black & white flash

2. dreamy blue hour photos

3. Andy's Frozen Custard

Our first location was the Graduate Fayetteville, one of my favorite places to shoot. The hotel has it all: a chic bar, eclectic decor, and furniture that screams camp, and I LOVE it. If you are looking for a place that's photo friendly with endless places to take photos, I highly recommend. After wrapping up at the hotel we had 15 minutes of sunlight left, so we quite literally chased the sun right in time for blue hour. We danced, we jumped, and we spun around until every last drop of sunlight was gone. Our final location was one of the places where Holly and Cam crossed path's freshman year of college and a southern staple, Andy's Frozen Custard. We sat and ate custard, and reflected on how funny life's timing is. How 8+ years later the man that was scooping your ice cream, is about to be your husband.

This is what sets my heart on fire: bringing to life all your Pinterest board dreams and documenting your story. Ready to let me tell it?
